Granted, the author is my mother, so I'm a little bias. That being said, this story is a heartbreaking, tragic and often funny look at our family from beginning to present times. The story is organized in such a way, in which she delicately leads the reader down a her life's path by using flashbacks mixed in with contemporary stories. Her life story is a roller coaster ride of triumphs and failures. It's a story that many people will be able to identify with, in the sense that, all the themes are aspects of contemporary life that everyone has experienced. Buckle in and enjoy the ride!
I wish I had this book when I was a young widow.
