I enjoyed the other two books in this series. However the first story in this book just irked me. Writing from the perspective of a woman in a Falconer's village didn't ring true or I feel follow cannon. I doubt that women would have been so ignorant as to call roosters he hens or boys he girls. Second story was better.

Love the witch world series. These are co-written with another author. The stories are well written and add depth to the time after the turning in and around Escarp. Really worth reading.
Somehow I missed this title when reading every Andre Norton book I could find. It did not disappoint. A satisfying conclusion to the 3 book Turning series. I recommend these books to anyone who enjoys well-written fantasy.
Has the scope of adventure and magic i have come to expect from an Andre Norton tale. Wonderful as always.
